Game gear drop zone

This effect resets once you receive an item with a Gear Score increase. New World treats weapons and jewelry watermarks a little bit differently. Weapon watermarks are weapon-specific, not slot-specific. Since you can place any weapon in any weapon slot in New World, the game tracks your weapon watermarks on a per-weapon basis. This means that by the time you reach level 60, you'll want to stick with the same two weapons to reach the Gear Score cap of as fast as possible. Increasing your jewelry watermark is practically impossible due to how New World handles jewelry Gear Score.

Almost every piece of jewelry in New World is named or crafted, meaning it doesn't impact your jewelry slot watermark whatsoever. Because of this, you want to farm elites that can drop named jewelry with a high Gear Score or craft them yourself. You can then farm these activities to obtain gear that increases your watermark. We'll be giving a few methods for increasing your Gear Score average and watermark.

The first two strategies are focused more on increasing your slot watermarks to enhance the Gear Score of items you receive. Some are also present in Reakwater and Ebonscale Reach. You're looking for zones that either have a ton of elites or one elite that repeatedly spawns. Out of every zone listed, Myrkgard is the best if you can get one or even two groups together.

This zone is extremely hard, but it contains dozens of elites that are level If you can't tackle Myrkgard, the other three options listed above are great alternatives. Regardless of the zone you choose to farm, you'll want to kill as many elites as possible. They each have a high chance of dropping items that will increase your average Gear Score and watermarks. Another great source of Gear Score is endgame Expeditions. These missions contain tons of enemies—some of which are elites—and chests that can give you gear upgrades.

It makes things especially tricky if you're trying to complete certain war zones to progress a specific mission chain objective. In this mission, you have to find an underground facility and clear out a series of floors containing enemies and varied objectives found in other drop zones. This mission sends players inside an AIM facility and tasks The Avengers with destroying an enlarged arc reactor. This hive mission will send you into the forest to find a facility with many layers of enemies to fight, and randomized objectives to complete.

This mission sends you out to investigate a disturbance and engage in a boss battle with an elite villain enemy. Colonel Bliss' Holster can be acquired by the following means within the game:. Would you consider yourself a demolitionist? Do you like to watch the world burn? If you answered yes to either of those questions then you'll probably want to acquire these handy knee pads.

The Shortbow Champion Pads reduces the fuse time on grenades so your big boom can happen soon I went there. A situational item the Shortbow Champion Pads don't often find themselves on anyones build guides so it's no wonder it's one of the easier exotics to acquire. Agents can have these drop from one to four ways:. The Hildr and Eir are wombo-combos residing in both weapon slots. The catch is that the Hildr itself cannot crit, therefore, the weapon is effectively useless without possessing its sister, Eir.

Although purely anecdotal, I've received dozens of Eirs, not appearing to be rare by any means. The Hildr, on the other hand, has been another story. A weapon that so powerful that it has to be inadvertently nerfed to prevent absolute havoc. Prior to the update the Alpha Bridge set would activate the Bullfrog's uncomplicated trait and could be applied to the Agent's secondary weapon slot. In today's iteration of The Division, the Bullfrog still has its uses, but it has fallen quite a bit from the meta.

The drop rate for the Bullfrog is unknown but can be acquired through contaminated events in the Dark Zone. The Medved is an exotic shotgun that fires slugs instead of buckshot, providing a more predictable line of fire. It also has the potential to inflict higher than normal DPS because of this unique trait.

The magazine isn't impressive, however, and the reload time can spring a bad situation for players. This weapon is better served as a method of burst damage. Roaming the Dark Zone can be a rewarding experience. On the other hand, it can also be the most frustrating content an Agent will encounter in The Division. Enter if you dare, but if you do, make sure you are properly equipped to battle rogue Agents looking to steal your loot.

Fear not though Agent, as there is a set for you to be more effective against players looking to test you. Villain Sectors are a good way to earn Polychoron, a rare resource which is used to upgrade Major Artifacts! This resource is sometimes the reward for these missions although it doesn't seem to be a guaranteed drop.

They will also give you DNA Keys. Shield Faction Missions are special stages which give you reputation for a specific Faction.

These missions tend to take slightly longer, but are useful for building up your reputation. Iconic Missions are challenges which are unique to a specific hero.

They often have some sort of a story-based connection to the hero in question, and they provide high quality gear for that hero. If you want to guarantee yourself some decent gear for a hero, make sure to knock out their iconic missions. We recommend doing these ASAP! Harm Challenges are training simulation exercises which can be a good source of experience when leveling up characters.

There are a variety of challenges, most of which come in waves. This is a good place to practice and level before taking on other missions. Development support provided by Nixxes.
