A weakened Ovan then revealed his true plan, to activate Corbenik's Rebirth power in order to save his sister, Aina. As Ovan activated the Rebirth power, Haseo disappeared along with him, leaving a dumbstruck Tokio alone. Later when Tokio went to the cathedral, as Saika detected a Chrono Core there. He reappeared again after several days, reluctantly helping Gaspard's guild shop, much to Tokio and Atoli's surprise since Haseo's attitude, while running the shop, was complete opposite of his usual self.
Both of them followed Haseo everywhere until they came to the Hulle Granz Cathedral, where Shino regained consciousness, and was waiting for Haseo to arrive. When he came, Shino offered Haseo a chance for them to restart the Twilight Brigade with just the two of them. Haseo however, declined this offer. Outside the Cathedral, as he was about to head back to town, Haseo met with Atoli who he didn't realize was actually eavesdropping with Tokio inside the cathedral.
Atoli simply said that it's a coincidence, but she was interrupted when a blushing Haseo suddenly asked for her to come with him.
Both the Terror of Death and Atoli became embarrassed, but Atoli smiled and agreed to go with him, so they left the area together. After this, Haseo's PC in was revived, and he joined the Twilight Knights with Tokio and the other new members, preparing for the final battle with a virus-infected Aura.
In the aftermath of the main story, Haseo appeared in. Haseo's crossover events are with Kite, Blackrose, and Mistral. In crossover with Kite, Kite has Tokio to invite Haseo to go clear an area with him. At first, the two has difficulty socialising with each other, with Haseo admitted he doesn't hate Kite but he felt uneasy because Kite reminded him of Azure Flame Kite even though he understand they are different people and Azure Flame Kite was not the one who PKed Shino.
Tokio urged him to start a conversation with Kite about what they have in common, but then realised that both have nothing in common at all. At the end of the dungeon, Tokio and Haseo found Kite troubled by the two Phiroses, but this led Haseo and Kite to finally start getting along.
In crossover with Blackrose, Haseo asked Tokio to invite Blackrose since he wanted to speak with her. When they met, however, Haseo told her that he will wait at the end of the dungeon. Finally clearing the dungeon, Haseo pulled Blackrose away from Tokio and shyly asked her for advice to get a birthday present for a girl presumedly Atoli because he thought she would be perfect person to ask since she's the same age.
Blackrose told Haseo to give something usual, but Haseo stated that she's unusual. Blackrose then told him that anything is fine as long as it's from him since anyone would be happy to get present from someone that they like.
Curious, Tokio asked what they were talking about, but Blackrose refused to answer, telling Tokio that it was too soon for him before they log out. In crossover with Mistral, following Blackrose's advice, Haseo asked Tokio to help him get a rare item. Mistral, who was happened to be also looking for the same item asked them to tag along as she told them that she just want to see and smell the item, revealing that the rare item is a flower.
This surprised Tokio who never thought that Haseo would want such kind of item, which Haseo embarrassedly admitted. Once clearing the area, the rare item was revealed to be a Honeysuckle Seed, much to Haseo's disappointment since what he needs is the flower so he gave it to Mistral instead. Mistral easily guessed that Haseo wanted to give the flower as a present but before she can reveal the meaning of the flower, Haseo quickly told Tokio to return to town.
Back at town, Haseo insistently told Tokio that he isn't going to give the flower as present for someone before he log out. Haseo appears at first as an antagonist before Tokio could befriend him. Posaune shows his own interest and by having Haseo come in contact with Tokio at Lumina Cross.
Haseo is shown a false vision and the misinterpretation causes him to burn a hatred for him and think Tokio is the one who PKed Shino. Afterward Posaune remodels and reinforces Haseo, reaching level which is outside of the specifications of The World. His right arm is also installed with a sharp claw with two systems. After the Rebirth, Aina sent an e-mail to Tokio to meet her and she then revealed that after unleashing the Rebirth, Ovan has been in coma.
She began to rant out her anger for both Tokio and Haseo not saving her brother even though they are supposed to be his friends. A remnant of data left in the area suddenly activated and showed Ovan's feelings for Aina, causing Aina to break down. Tokio then told her to respect and never forget Ovan's wishes for her to be free and live her life.
In the epilogue, Ovan was seen with Aina, Lycoris, and Shino. Aina told her brother that she wanted to go play with Lycoris, and Ovan approved as long as she'll be careful. Ovan was then left alone with Shino and the two shared a moment together, causing Tokio and Saika who watched them by a chance to become flustered and hurriedly left the scene as to not disturb the two.

Ovan's white and blue color scheme runs perfectly contrary to Haseo's black and red. The true color of his eyes are a light blue as in the game, and seen only once and for only a brief time. Ovan is a very mysterious person. Generally quiet, when he does speak, everybody listens. He is capable of commanding the attention of everybody around him with little effort.
He seems to know quite a bit about events in The World R:2 , though his quiet nature makes it unclear exactly how much knowledge he actually has. He frequently disappears from the game for long stretches of time; while he says it's related to his job in the real world, whether that is true or not is up for debate. As a Steam Gunner of an extremely high level, he has progressed beyond having to worry about trivial matters such as leveling or PKers , leaving him plenty of time to work on his long term goals, whatever they may be.
One thing to note, though he never seems to lie, he has the habit of not giving a straight answer, leaving others to make their own judgments. Ovan's player is named Masato Indou , who once worked as a Network Administration Bureau investigator. He has met with Shino , and seems to keep in contact with her outside of the game. He also has a younger sister named Aina. During the events of. Immediately afterword, an international warrant was issued from Interpol for his arrest.
Near the end of the G. Games , the charges were dropped after an anonymous CC Corp employee revealed that his company was blaming Ovan for its own wrongdoings. Ovan rescues Haseo after he is PKed. His interest in Haseo soon draws the attention of Naobi , the Guildmaster of TaN , who wonders why a powerful character like Ovan would be interested in a newbie.
Naobi sends several of his guild members to investigate Haseo, and try to sway him into TaN. Eventually, after a discovery by Haseo, the Twilight Brigade finds what they believe is the hiding place of the Key of the Twilight. In actuality, the entire thing was a trap by Naobi, who managed to capture Ovan so that he could explore his character data, which he said was much larger than a normal PC 's should be. Ovan, who had expected something like this, had been gathering information about TaN's illegal activities.
After his disappearance, his second in command, Shino , used the evidence to get TaN disbanded by the system admins.
Despite the destruction of their Guild, Naobi and his assistant Ender disposed themselves of their PC bodies, and revealed their true forms, that of the System Administrators Yata and Pi. With Ovan under their control, they began a complete scan of Ovan's character data, eventually investigating the seal on his left arm.
Despite Ovan's protests they succeeded in breaking the seal, which exploded in a flash of light. Somehow this allowed Ovan to escape from their control, allowing him to return to the normal portions of The World R Ovan returned to find his guild disbanded. Only two former members, Haseo and Tabby , remained as players, and more unfortunately his close friend Shino was revealed to have been attacked by Tri-Edge and turned into a Lost One.
Spurning contact with his former allies, Ovan began to wander the system, encountering the powerful player Taihaku in his travels. Using his left arm, which apparently contained an AIDA , Ovan was able to fight evenly against the powerful Azure Kite, forcing him to retreat. Though Kite had been driven off, Ovan realized that he hadn't been defeated permanently.
Being told Ovan would meet up with him there, Haseo traveled to the Cathedral as directed, where he encountered Azure Kite. Though Phyllo was shocked by the revelation, he promised to take Ovan's secret to the grave. Looking at the falls, Ovan quietly begged Haseo to get stronger, strong enough to kill him and restore order to The World.
Ovan has a small cameo with Haseo when several members of Moon Tree spy on a meeting between them at the Arche Koeln Waterfall. After a long drought of contact, Ovan sends an e-mail to Haseo , telling him to return to Hulle Granz Cathedral and that he'd find what he was looking for. There, he meets with Haseo, informing him of Shino's state in the real world.
Ovan leaves shortly before the appearance of Azure Kite. He reappears to watch Haseo's fight with Endrance in the arena. While fighting Haseo, Ovan easily overpowers Haseo.
